Tuabi, who had been with JPMorgan since at least 2007, disappeared, according to the FCA registry. JPMorgan declined to comment on his whereabouts.
Tuavi, who previously ran emerging markets sales at JPMorgan in London, was promoted to managing director in April 2021 and appears to have spent his entire career in London.
It’s not clear where he will go next or whether he intends to step down. His popularity at JPMorgan appears not to have been universal.
JP Morgan is making adjustments to its investment bank following Visu Raghavan’s disappearance. So far, the job cuts have focused on changes to the investment banking division, with friends of Mr. Biss appearing to flee to other areas.
