1. A growing number of senior Democrats are calling on President Biden to withdraw from the race. Some are even calling for an “embargo” — a suspension of activities until the president withdraws. Biden stood his ground over the weekend, saying he is the man and he’s not going anywhere.

2. Southeast Texas is facing a Category 1 storm, potential flash flooding, life-threatening storm surge and the threat of tornadoes as Beryl made landfall early this morning.

The country of Nepal is working to clean it up, but it’ll take years due to the altitude, low oxygen levels, cold and other weather conditions.
