
Despite not currently having a job, former Texas A&M head coach Jimbo Fisher has an opinion.
In a recent interview with SiriusXM, the former Aggies coach cited his belief that teams in leagues other than the Big Ten and SEC are turning into “glorified junior colleges.”
“What’s going on here, a lot of you mid-majors and a lot of you non-mid-majors, the ACC, the Big 12, the old Pac-12, some of those leagues, I would say they’re being glorified. “It’s a junior college,” Fisher said. “And some of those teams were great teams that were competing for the playoffs at one time.
