Newly appointed Minister of State (Independent Charge), Jayant Chaudhary, was formally appointed as the head of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) yesterday. The ceremony, held at Kaushal Bhawan in New Delhi, marked a concerted effort to achieve the goals outlined in the Government of India’s 100 Day Agenda.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister of State (Independent Charge), MSDE Jayant Chaudhary said, “India has a large youth population that needs to be given opportunities to skill, reskill and upskill to fulfil their dreams. This is fully in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of ‘Vikshit Bharat’ (a developed India where every citizen has the opportunity to grow and contribute to the prosperity of the country). There is a constant demand for new industry-ready skills across sectors and I am confident that the Ministry’s relentless efforts will have a tangible impact on the skilling and employment landscape.”
