The Iowa State University Papajohn Entrepreneurship Center and the Iowa Small Business Development Center invite veterans, active duty military, reservists, National Guard, military families and their business partners to the 3rd Annual Iowa Veteran Entrepreneurship Conference.
The conference, held the first weekend in May, is sponsored by Iowa State University’s Debbie and Jerry Ivey College of Business and the Bergstrom Foundation, which supports students exploring entrepreneurship, according to a news release. Promoting the environment.
Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in customized workshops and networking sessions, as well as access valuable resources. This conference offers something for everyone, whether attendees are looking to start a business or are already pursuing a business venture.
Pro football player Allen Lazard, founder of At the Top for Veterans and an Iowa State University graduate, will be the keynote speaker. The Allen Foundation sponsors participation for veterans, military personnel, their families, and business partners, and participation in this event is completely free.

The conference includes an optional virtual pitch workshop on Wednesday, April 24th from 5:30-6:30 p.m. In preparation for two pitch contests to be held during the conference on Friday, May 3rd from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.
A reception for participants will be held on Friday, May 3rd at 5pm, and the main conference session will be held on Saturday, May 4th from 8am to 5pm.
