ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The third annual Influential Women Entrepreneur Expo was held Sunday, bringing together change-making women leaders.
“This is aimed at women entrepreneurs and women-owned businesses, whether they’re just starting out,” said Kelly Breuer, owner of Rochester Women Online Magazine and Influential Women. It doesn’t matter if you are a leader making seven figures.”
That’s understandable, since Breuer is a female entrepreneur herself.
“From an early age, I knew I would become a female entrepreneur,” Breuer said. “I always envisioned it. Her grandmother always pushed me to follow my dreams of making it happen.”
On Sunday, she was joined by more than 60 women-owned businesses from across New York State who felt the same passion.
“In the world of entrepreneurship, we all come together for community connections, and women working together to build businesses and learn from others could literally be anything you can imagine. No,” Breuer said.
This event gave them the space to ask questions, make connections, and grow.
“I think all of us, especially women, need a space where we can just come and be real with each other and empower each other and lift each other up,” she said. Ta.
The expo focused on empowering women entrepreneurs through case studies.
“I said, ‘Okay, hey, I had this challenge or I had this problem,'” she said. “What do I need to do, or what suggestions does anyone else who may have experienced something like that have?” Breuer said.
We want to leave women with confidence and resources.
“I hope they come back full,” Breuer said. “It has everything they need, knowledge and encouragement.”
Breuer says she encourages them to follow their dreams, just like she did.
“I encourage women to grow up and get up there and just get on with it,” Breuer said.
