MUMBAI: Indian Shipping Registry (IRS), one of the world’s leading ship classification societies, has appointed Ravindra Sir as its Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to accelerate its digitalization efforts.
Sah has over 30 years of experience in providing engineering services using digital technologies and Industry 4.0 solutions. Prior to joining IRS, he was Chief Engineer, Strategic Projects, Global Practice at Tata Technologies and Tata Motors.
He joins the IRS team to drive the digitalization agenda and spearhead the development and implementation of cutting-edge technologies aimed at transforming the maritime industry. He will identify opportunities for digital innovation and work to ensure that society remains at the forefront of technological advancement.
