IIIT-H incubator, British Academy hosts cohort for SDG-based startups

The Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the International Institute of Information Technology (IIIIT-Hyderahad), in partnership with the UK-based Royal Academy of Engineering, has launched an exclusive cohort of eight startups.

The shortlisted startups working in areas that advance the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals will be recognized in the Academy’s Leaders in Innovation, which focuses on fostering scalable innovation in environmental, economic and social challenges.・You will receive a fellowship (LIF).

The list of startups selected for the program included Nariksha Pads, Pola, Quavilon, ASHA+, Hydroverse, SmartKosh, Revalu, and Precue.

“Start-ups will receive comprehensive support including training, mentorship and access to international networks,” said Ramesh Loganathan, COO, CIE-IIIT Hyderabad.

The LIF program provided customized support, including training, mentorship, and access to a diverse network of experts and resources.

“These programs, supported by the UK Department for Science, Innovation and Technology, drive sustainable development through locally designed solutions and impact communities around the world,” he said. .
