Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP®), producer of the Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition and Conference (HITEC®), welcomes outstanding startups to attend Entrepreneur 20X (E20X) Charlotte on June 26, 2024 at HITEC Charlotte Eight companies were announced. Technologies featured in the HITEC 2024 cohort range from streamlining both back-of-house and front-of-house operations, building guest profiles to enhance the stay experience, and strengthening relationships with real estate vendors. .

The selection process is rigorous and designed to identify entrepreneurs with the potential to create truly innovative solutions and lasting impact. Entrepreneur 20X has been the premier hospitality technology pitch competition for nearly a decade, providing startups with the opportunity to gain visibility and credibility within the industry and connect with other solution providers and influential industry experts. This is a unique opportunity to build a network. Each participant has four minutes of his or her time to present an innovative product or service to a panel of judges with experience in entrepreneurship and a live audience of her HITEC attendees. Each pitch will be followed by an additional 4 minutes of Q&A between the judges and presenters.
The winning startup will receive a grand prize of $5,000 for consideration in the Judges’ Choice Award, and the People’s Choice Award winner will also be recognized for real-time peer voting during the presentation and deliberation period. Through participation in the competition, all startups will be exposed to potential investors, customers and partners in the hospitality technology industry.
Beyond the stage, E20X attendees will receive complimentary space to exhibit with more than 320 attendees in the HITEC Charlotte Exhibition Hall in the E20X Pavilion. Pitchers also have access to a team of industry mentors prior to the competition to inspire and educate startups by providing them with the insight, expertise, and guidance they need to succeed in both competitions and startups.
