Gujarat is known for its entrepreneurial spirit. It is important for the state government to keep that spirit high, as is evident from the launch of the state’s initiative, Kal Ke Krorepati (KKK) – Chhote Sheher Bade Sapne. The initiative is essentially designed to shine a spotlight on India’s burgeoning startup ecosystem. The show will be launched on Zee Business and Tata Play’s channel No 515 (Har Ghar Startup). This is not just a TV show; it’s a platform for dreams.
The show was inaugurated in Ahmedabad by actor and entrepreneur Sunil Shetty, whose presence highlighted the importance and impact of this initiative. The Gujarat chapter is the first in the series and will be rolled out in other states of India as well.
KKK is produced by Iroller Media and Ent and co-produced by FAVCY Venture Builders and Alka Gor. Jade Blue is the costume partner and Karnavati University is providing the venue. The show aims to secure funding and stimulate significant economic growth. The initiative received 500 business proposals from startups across Gujarat and selected 27 promising ones.
In the inaugural episode, startups faced questions from eminent investors like Sushil Sharma, Founder and CEO, Marwari Catalysts, who has invested over Rs 800 crore in 75 startups; Dr Neha Sharma, Founder and Director, Accelerate India, who has mentored over 1,000 startups; Navina Reddy, Lead Angels and Mihir Joshi, GVFL Ltd., also participated in the panel.
