
BOULDER — Security software maker Strata Identity Inc. recently hired Aldo Pietropaolo as its on-site chief technology officer.
“As field chief technology officer, Aldo will work closely with customers as a technical liaison to understand their unique multi-cloud and hybrid cloud identity management requirements and challenges,” Strata said in a news release. “He will provide expert guidance on the implementation of Strata’s Maverics platform to help the organization achieve its business objectives, enhance security and ensure regulatory compliance.”
Pietropaolo was a co-founder of Good Dogs Labs, a software consulting firm that was acquired by Lighthouse Computer Services in 2017.

“I’ve worked with Aldo on several occasions over the past 25 years. He is one of the brightest minds in identity management and has a unique ability to understand our customers’ needs — sometimes better than them,” Strata CEO Eric Olden said in the release. “As field CTO, he will play a central role in helping customers design, build and implement customized solutions for application and identity modernization and identity continuity using Strata’s Maverics (identity orchestration platform).” The field CTO is an increasingly popular role at technology companies.
