Its mission of “elevating female entrepreneurship in a community spirit” will kick off with its grand opening on Friday, May 31, 2024, from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm at 1808-10 W. 103rd St., 2nd Floor, Chicago, IL 60643. In addition to the comprehensive amenities, FoundHERS Suite’s unique location in the Beverly neighborhood, in the heart of Chicago’s South Side, sets it apart. “The mission of The FoundHERS Suite is to foster and encourage the growth of women-led businesses while highlighting the importance of collaboration and support within the broader societal framework,” says founder and host LaTanya Orr. “We believe in empowering women to become entrepreneurs and promoting a sense of community and common goal within the entrepreneurial ecosystem.”
The FoundHERS Suite goes beyond traditional co-working, where soul-guided women entrepreneurs discover more than a desk and chair — they find a sanctuary where their passion and purpose intertwine to create a business that resonates with their collective journey. Members and guests have access to contemporary amenities such as a podcast studio, two meeting rooms, a spa/therapy “HER Soul Room” and an inviting lounge area.
FoundHERS Suite is home to the Rehoboth Center for Women’s Entrepreneurship. Rehoboth (pronounced ruh-hoh-buhth) is a Hebrew word that means “spacious place for you, you will be fruitful in the land and flourish there.” FoundHERS Suite’s vision is to foster female entrepreneurship through the Rehoboth Center for Women’s Entrepreneurship, while also supporting and collaborating with the community to bring women together to share their success and empower them. Comprehensive services include everything from accounting and legal support to marketing and nonprofit management.
“My personal mission is to empower entrepreneurial women to realise their full potential so that they are resilient and perform at the peak of their abilities, regardless of the challenges,” Oh added.
