Salman Khan’s star status has enabled him to form meaningful connections with prominent personalities. The superstar is often praised for his public appearances and film promotions, but it is unusual for the actor to share the same slot as his father Salim Khan. Recently, on April 7, the father and son were seen enjoying lunch together at politician Ashish Shelar’s residence in the luxurious Galaxy Apartments. A photo of Salman Khan, Salim Khan and Ashish Shelar was shared on their Instagram handle.

Ashish Shelar captioned the post with a short caption, expressing the Khan family’s gratitude for the tremendous philanthropy done through the Being Human Foundation. “Meeting over lunch with Shri Salim Khan Ji, St. Helen Ji, Salman Khan and their families, I was honored to meet with Shri Salim Khan Ji, St. Helen Ji, Salman Khan and their families and to share my thoughts on the health care and needy services that Salim Ji has pursued with utmost sincerity for the past 20 years. “I am happy to discuss social work in the field,” he wrote.

In the photo, Salman Khan was seen wearing a gray full-sleeved T-shirt and black loose-fitting pants. Salim Khan was wearing a yellow checked shirt and gray joggers. Ashish Shelar was dressed formally in a white shirt and black pants. The three smiled at the camera.

Besides Salman and Salim Khan, politician Rahul Narain Khanal was also present at the luncheon. Besides being a popular face among Bollywood celebrities, Rahul is also the owner of his restaurant Bhaijan’s in Mumbai. While sharing a group photo on Instagram, he wrote: It is always a pleasure to meet uncle Salim Khansab. More than just a great human being, he is an institution. You can always learn from him – he shares and I quote – his two things to achieve being a saint – feed those around you and cure those around you thing. Speaking of Salman Khan, the actor was last seen in Manesh Sharma’s Tiger 3, co-starring Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi. He will next be seen in director Vishnuvardhan’s ‘The Bull’ starring Trisha Krishnan. The upcoming action drama will be produced by Karan Johar under his Dharma Productions banner.
