Emily Calandrelli, host of the Netflix series “Emily’s Wonder Lab,” will deliver the keynote address at Dupage College’s STEMCON on Saturday, April 27th.

STEMCON, the annual exploration of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, returns on Saturday, April 27th at Dupage College.
The event is free and open to the public and will be held at COD’s Physical Education Center, 425 Fawell Blvd, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. At Glen Ellyn.
Visitors will experience hands-on activities in a variety of indoor and outdoor interactive exhibits, including model rockets, composting activities, welding simulators, fossil exploration, telescopes, chromatography, and more.

The exhibition will be run by practicing researchers, industry representatives, and STEM educators.
STEMCON will feature keynotes from Emily Calandrelli, host of Netflix’s “Emily’s Wonder Lab” and FOX’s “Exploring Outer Space,” in the McInchi Arts Center’s Belushi Performance Hall from 12:30 p.m. There will also be a lecture. Doors open at noon. Seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis. There will also be an autograph session afterwards.
Calandrelli’s keynote will be followed by a demonstration by Fermilab’s Freeze on the MAC stage at 3 p.m., highlighting the interesting properties of cryogenics and cryogenic temperatures using liquid nitrogen.
