Infosys founder NR Narayana Murthy on Monday said that entrepreneurship is just a state of mind and that someone who starts a company is not an entrepreneur, but someone who does things faster and strives for excellence. “It’s all about creating a competitive advantage,” he said.
Speaking at the ‘Day Zero 2024’ event by Log9 Materials, a deep tech and advanced battery technology startup in Bengaluru, Murthy said that as long as we keep that in mind, “we are all entrepreneurs.” said.
“Anyone can be an entrepreneur because it’s a state of mind. As long as everyone in your company asks themselves how they can do things faster, cheaper, and better, you can become a competitive, sustainable I think we can bring an advantage to your company,” he told the gathering.
“There are several very important factors that contribute to the longevity of a company. The first is market access. No matter how great an idea is, it has zero value unless a company increases its market access.” said the Infosys founder.
“The second is access to talent. Unless you attract the best talent, your company has zero value. Because it is the power of the human mind that brings innovation and makes it happen. Our mission is to hire, develop, empower and retain the best talent.”
At this event, Log9 announced a significant transformation: rebranding its mobility business to Amphion, a full-stack EV asset management company.
