American Express and Main Street America are providing funding that can be used for a variety of purposes, including accessibility upgrades, community events, marketing and operational strategies.
A huge grant of $5.75 million is available for small businesses to help boost economic vitality.
The funding is part of the Backing Small Businesses grant program provided by American Express and Main Street America. The program aims to support economically vulnerable and under-resourced small and medium-sized businesses through community support. That includes black-owned businesses. According to this report, the number of grants and total funding has increased this year.
Now in its third year, the program will allow 500 small businesses to apply for $10,000 grants each until April 7, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. CT. Please follow the link to learn more about the program and qualifications.
In addition, applications will be made available once 500 beneficiaries submit their final reports in September 2024. of $30,000 in enhancement grants.
