CHICAGO, July 11, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — EnsembleIQ’s Hospitality Technology (HT) today announced the annual Hotel Visionary Award The awards have expanded in scope with the addition of new categories to recognize hotel companies and technology solution providers who have demonstrated innovation, collaboration and leadership.
“As technology becomes increasingly pervasive in every aspect of hotel operations, Hospitality Technology recognizes that technology success is no longer the purview of the IT department,” said Abigail Roden, vice president and publisher of Hospitality Technology. “Now more than ever, hotel executives across departments including marketing, finance, customer experience and, of course, IT, are working to procure, design and implement technology initiatives that will drive revenue, improve operations, increase guest loyalty and engagement, and build a more organized and efficient workforce.”
The Hotel Visionary Awards, now in its 19th year, Nominations Now Being Accepted It will run until September 13th. Hotel Technology Forum (HTF) will take place November 18-20 at Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif. Winners will also be recognized at a special awards dinner immediately following the onstage ceremony.
The 2024 Hotel Visionary Award categories are:
Innovation Award The award is given to hoteliers who have launched an innovative technology experience in the past 18 months in one of the following solution categories: Food & Beverage, Guest Experience, In-Room Technology, Human Resources, Infrastructure, Revenue Management, Sales & Marketing, or Sustainability. Hoteliers may self-nominate; technology vendors/suppliers may also nominate hotel companies but are not eligible to receive the award.
of Partnership Award Presented to a hotelier-vendor team that has demonstrated outstanding collaborative idea generation and execution over a 12-month period. The award celebrates the successful relationship that a hotelier and vendor forge when co-creating a technology solution. Both hoteliers and vendors can nominate themselves for this award and both are eligible to receive this partnership award.
of Rising Star Award Designed to recognize individuals with less than five years of experience working in the hotel technology industry, the awards honor those who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, ingenuity and skill at the very beginning of their careers while reinventing the way things are done in hotels. The awards are open to both hoteliers and vendors.
of Lifetime Achievement Award This award recognizes lifetime contributions (15+ years) and achievements in the hotel technology industry. The award recognizes individuals who have made a significant impact on their peers through their passion, mentorship and dedication to the industry. The award is open to both hoteliers and vendors.
