A new digital platform designed to support and connect ethnic minority entrepreneurs in Scotland is set to launch later this month.
Knowvate Hub aims to educate its members and facilitate connections with technology ecosystem partners in the private, public, and nonprofit sectors.
The company’s Community Resource Hub will officially launch on April 19th at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Glasgow. This is the latest highlight of Knowvate’s nationwide ‘Include and Inspire’ event series, which has attracted more than 300 ethnic minority entrepreneurs across Scotland to date.
Founded in 2023 as a spin-out from Black Professionals Scotland, Knowvate Hub engages with racially under-represented communities across Scotland, focusing on pathways to entrepreneurship and overcoming barriers to participation. The project is one of 42 projects supported by the Ecosystem Fund 2023-24, a Scottish Government initiative delivered by Scottish Enterprise to strengthen start-up activity, address gaps in enterprise education and It aims to promote inclusivity and opportunity in spirit.
