DEC Network, a Dallas-based nonprofit that promotes innovation and economic impact for entrepreneurs, held a grand opening ceremony for its renovated headquarters, The DEC Network @ Redbird, on April 11th, welcoming 400 people. More than 1,000 community members attended.
Redbird Grand Opening Award winners were recognized at a ribbon-cutting event sponsored by CLA and Charles Schwab.
Our headquarters in south Dallas is a hub for entrepreneurs, startups, and business leaders. DEC said the new facility will serve as a catalyst for economic growth and community development in the region.

Dr. DeAndrea Flemingthe Mark of Resilience received the RedBird Mentoring Award, which recognizes individuals or groups who guide and foster development and provide both guidance and resources to help RedBird members on their path to success.
$2.4 million RedBird Innovation Center
The $2.4 million RedBird Innovation Center spans more than 20,000 square feet and features 120 coworking/hot desks, 48 dedicated desks, 19 dedicated offices, and office suites. It was designed by Page Sutherland Page and constructed by K2.
Equipment in the center was donated by WilsonBauhaus, Reveles Clinical, and Veritex Bank. Other RedBird donors include Peter Brodsky, the Hirsch Foundation, Texas Capital Bank, and Vari Desk.
The center will offer area entrepreneurs and creators space to create content in two podcasting rooms, as well as a business accelerator program with prizes up to $20,000 for all stages of business. He said he is providing it.
The center also provides a capital access resource area to connect founders with funding information and opportunities.
