The Colorado Democratic Party’s “Controversy Committee” has concluded that Sheena Ann Cuddy engaged in “belligerent harassment” of U.S. Rep. Leslie Herrod of Denver, and has suspended Sheena Ann Cuddy from party activities across the state. It recommended that Mr. Cuddy be banned.
The committee met last Wednesday and released its recommendations on Saturday.
Party Chairman Shad Murib told Colorado Politics he accepts the recommendations and intends to implement them immediately.
The Disputes Committee ordered Kadi to be excluded from all party activities, including participation in dialogue and meetings, to have his access to the state party voter file terminated, and to be barred from holding any elected party office. Cuddy told Colorado Politics on Wednesday that she was unable to join the Zoom meeting despite multiple attempts to sign in to the meeting.
“It’s a shame to see Shad welding.” [sic] His power was given in such an undemocratic way,” she said.
She said she tried for 45 minutes to join the Zoom meeting with different emails and different devices, and tried emailing the committee without success.
The party told Colorado Politics that Cuddy had access to the Zoom waiting room and was allowed in three times, but “immediately left the meeting each time.” Someone also gave her a dial-in number and other information, but “there was no indication that she attempted it,” the party said, adding that officers delayed her meeting for 15 minutes to accommodate Cuddy. Mr Herod was granted a restraining order against Mr Kadi in February following a year of accusations on social media. Cadi has accused Herod of sexual assault, including the X account she used to communicate on behalf of the Treasury Secretary, who serves as her publicist.

In a Feb. 12 ruling, Denver County Court Judge Clarissa Gonzalez found Cuddy’s accusations unreliable and granted Herod a one-year protective order. The order calls for Kadi to stay away from Herod, giving her some leeway given that both women work at the state capitol and may attend the same party events. A condition is set that a yard distance be provided.
The order also requires Cuddy to stop posting about Herod on social media, but does not require Cuddy to delete previous posts.
“She can’t post about me, she can’t be in my space,” Herod told Colorado Politics last month, adding, “I didn’t do anything wrong.”
“Ms. Cuddy’s testimony in this case was found by this court to be implausible, not only because the nature of her testimony was in many cases simply contrary to common sense, but also because other It’s also because the evidence, the reliable evidence, directly proves this.” It’s simply inconsistent,” Gonzalez said.
In addition to finding the sexual assault allegation not credible, Gonzalez said other “so-called incidents of violence and intimidation are completely unfounded.”
