KALISPELL, Montana, June 27, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — ClassOne Technology, a leading global provider of advanced electroplating and wet process tools for microelectronics manufacturing, today announced the launch of two Solstice® Analog Devices, Inc. (Nasdaq: ADI) has ordered an S4 single-wafer processing system for its facility in Beaverton, Ore. The four-chamber ClassOne Solstice system will improve the performance of ADI’s innovative analog/mixed-signal and digital signal processing (DSP) ICs.
Built on ClassOne’s state-of-the-art, high-throughput Solstice platform, the four-chamber Solstice S4 is equipped with the ClassOne GoldPro™ reactor, specifically designed to optimize Solstice gold plating technology. The combination of high plating rates and excellent uniformity (typically ≤3% cross-wafer) ensures superior uniformity of device features, which is especially important for optimized performance for power and automotive devices with stringent safety and functionality requirements.
“We work closely with our customers to drive innovation, but our manufacturing processes and equipment must continue to lead the way,” said Daniel Burlingame, ADI’s managing director of manufacturing operations and general manager of the Beaverton facility. “Furthermore, our production facility upgrade efforts require the rapid integration of cutting-edge technology from trusted OEMs, which is exactly why we selected ClassOne’s Solstice system for our plating requirements.”
“As one of the industry’s leading processor manufacturers, ADI brings to market products that are essential to the automotive industry and other industries with stringent performance requirements,” said Byron Exarchos, CEO of ClassOne Technology. “We look forward to working with ADI to optimize the development and time to market of their devices.”
