Barcelona, July 5– The Cellnex Foundation launches the fourth edition of the Cellnex Bridge Startup Acceleration Program. In collaboration with accelerators Atticlab Social Innovation Consultant InubaThis time, we are welcoming five promising social impact startups and providing them with financial support, training and mentoring to advance their projects.
The program, which focuses on supporting projects with a positive impact and ensuring inclusion in an increasingly digital society, will last for eight months, during which start-ups will have to develop a proof of concept that will help reduce social, digital and/or territorial divides.
Comprehensive support and strategic resources
To achieve this goal, entrepreneurs will have special access to top mentors specializing in innovation, entrepreneurship and impact, who will accompany and support them throughout the start-up and development process. They will participate in training sessions, workshops and practical classes taught by industry experts, working on key aspects such as business plans, fundraising, communication strategies, creativity and soft skills, with ongoing support from telecommunications company Cellnex Telecom.
The program will also provide startups with grants of 15,000 euros to enable them to develop and validate their innovative ideas in a real-world environment. This initial investment is part of the Cellnex Foundation’s commitment. We foster the growth and viability of projects that drive positive and sustainable social impact.
“We are delighted to launch the fourth edition of Cellnex Bridge, incorporating five promising startups. Their dedication and innovative proposals reflect the positive impact we want to foster. Our goal is to provide them with the necessary tools and support to turn their ideas into real and effective solutions”, he emphasized. Angel Ucero, He is a trustee of the Cellnex Foundation.
This year, startups will once again have the opportunity to experience Mobile World Congress 2025 from Cellnex Telecom’s booth and enjoy the growth and visibility benefits that come with participating in a global event of such character, as well as enjoy exclusive benefits by subscribing to different digital services and platforms offered by AticcoLab partners such as Amazon, HubSpot and Stripe, be able to work on and develop projects in collaborative spaces, and receive two free job opportunities in Aticco Workspaces (Barcelona or Madrid) per participant.
Efforts to bridge the gap
Reducing social, geographical and digital divides is a key element in all the selected initiatives, covering a range of approaches, from applications focused on protecting vulnerable groups and promoting sustainability and rural areas, to comprehensive projects with a focus on education.
The call for projects, which was open from May 8 to June 16, attracted a huge number of interesting initiatives committed to making an impact on society, five of which took part in the fourth edition.
