The Champions League is club football’s most prestigious cup competition, and some of the greatest players have enjoyed some of its most iconic moments.
Celebrate longevity and name the 30 players with the most Champions League appearances.
Technically, this includes the entire history of the European Cup, but all 30 names featured are from the modern day after the rebrand.
“Maybe we should change the name of the Champions League to the CR7 Champions League,” the man pictured above famously said after winning the competition for the fifth time in 2018.
“Who has won the most titles and who has the most goals?”
He also holds the record for the most appearances.
Of course, it’s easy. But what about the rest? High scores are expected here. A perfect score is definitely achievable, especially considering that the clues are the number of games played and the total number of clubs represented (in chronological order).
An asterisk indicates that the player has played in the 2023-24 Champions League.
