BROWNSVILLE, Texas – Attention all budding entrepreneurs in Brownsville: Are you between the ages of 18-25 and dreaming of starting your own business? If so, you might want to connect with Frontera Leadership Institute.
The Frontera Leadership Institute is a free, three-month leadership program run by the nonprofit LMNTS and sponsored by Brownsville Community Improvement Corp. The program will be held at the eBridge Center for Business & Commercialization in downtown Brownsville.
For more information, Rio Grande Guardian eBridge spoke to Ruben Cantu, founder of LMNTS, who said the intensive 12-week program equips aspiring entrepreneurs with the essential skills needed to start a business and lead a team.
“This intensive summer program will train you to think like a leader, build a business from the ground up and learn product management. Our program is unique and takes a heart-centered approach to business. You’ll learn how to collaborate, deal with ambiguity and develop the interpersonal skills needed to run or manage a successful business,” Cantu said.
“Hosted by LMNTS, this program aims to support the next generation of entrepreneurs. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn more.”
Cantu said the mission of the Frontera Leadership Institute is to inspire change among students by educating, empowering and connecting them with leaders who will lead their communities.
“We value inclusivity and want to create a safe space where students, no matter who they are or where they come from, can step confidently into the rapid world of innovation,” Cantu said.
“And our three-month leadership program is completely free.”
