Business owners have been targeted in a spate of robberies and attempted break-ins in Staffordshire towns.

The owner of Biddulph Domestic Services says his facility has had about six break-ins in Biddulph over the past week.

Linda, the owner of nearby Premier Hairdressing, said her staff were “very shaken up” after her store was robbed.

Staffordshire Police were asked to respond.

Linda said the robbery at Premier Hairdressing on April 4, in which several pieces of equipment were stolen, including a hair dryer and clippers, was “not a very good thing”.

He added: “We’ve been here for 23 years and we’ve never had anything like this before so it’s very upsetting.”

Linda said some of the stolen items were found thrown in trash cans or dropped, then found and returned by customers.

“We continue to find pieces of evidence, so we’ll see what happens.”

The front window of Biddulph Domestic Services was shattered by a roof tile, but owner Andrew Barnett said the security glass had prevented further burglars from breaking in.

He added that he was not worried about further attempts, but was frustrated by the cost of repairing the damage.

“It’s just the cost and the time it takes. This tempered glass door is not cheap,” Barnett said.

“I think the glass for the door and someone to fit it will cost around £300 to £400.

“We had six burglaries in one week, so I hate thinking about what’s going to happen next year.” [insurance] It will be premium. ”
