Looking to “level up” your small business? The Brooke T. Smith Launchpad, Clemson’s hub of entrepreneurship, is open to university employees who currently own a small business or are interested in starting one. A seminar will be held.
This “how-to” seminar will introduce staff to the guidance and resources available through Launchpad and will also cover business fundamentals such as creating a business plan and responding to the current business environment.
“We believe strongly in helping people become their best selves,” said John Hannon, founding director of Brooke T. Smith Launchpad. “Participants will benefit from learning new entrepreneurial principles, which they can also pass on to spouses and other family members who have entrepreneurial ideas.”
The seminar will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the University Facilities Center (UF Room 251).
Participation is limited to 60 people, so interested staff should register their interest in the event in advance.
