2024 Bronx Entrepreneur Scholarship Recipients.

The Bronx Entrepreneur Scholarship Foundation awarded scholarships to three students who will be graduating from high school on Friday, June 14. Valerie Sepulveda, Daniel Hostos-Perez and Joshua Kissoon received the scholarships for their academic achievements and demonstrated interest in entrepreneurship and business.

A graduate of Bronx College Academy, Sepulveda is looking forward to the student activities, dorm life and meeting new people at Syracuse University. Her long-term goal is to work for an international corporate banking firm.

Perez plans to major in psychology at Boston University and then get a PhD to become a licensed psychiatrist. She is a graduate of University Heights High School. Her goal is to start a nonprofit organization that helps youth who need mental health services.

Kison is a graduate of St. Raymond Boys High School and loves music, basketball, fashion and spending time with friends. He plans to attend Iona College and study Finance, which he hopes will be a great experience. After college, he hopes to explore the world and experience different cultures.
