Jose Minaya Playing the role of Global Head of BNY Investments & Wealth The company made the announcement on Sept. 3. In his new role, he will report directly to the company’s president and CEO. Robin VinceAdditionally, he serves on the company’s executive committee. Hanneke SmitsAfter leading the company for several years, he retired.

Minaya He joins BNY from Nuveen, where he served as president and chief investment officer, overseeing all global operations and investment activity in equities, fixed income, real estate, private markets, natural resources, alternative investments and responsible investing.
Minaya also has extensive experience working for companies such as: AIG, Merrill Lynch, JP Morgan, TIAA.
He is a member of the board Manhattan College and Advisory Committee Amos Tuck School of Business, Dartmouth Collegewhere he earned his MBA.
