In our newsroom, we sometimes report stories under the byline “Pioneer Staff Report,” which is used when reporters rewrite basic breaking news from official sources that require little or no reporting, such as emails or press releases.

The byline is also used when a news article has multiple authors or is an aggregation of previously reported news from various sources. If outside sources are used, this will be noted in the article.

For questions about Staff Reports, please call (218) 333-9796 or email news@bemidjipioneer.com.
