Badruka School of Management (BSM), an affiliate of the Badruka Education Society, organised the third and final face-to-face presentation of the business case competition ‘BSM IGNITE’ in Hyderabad.
The BSM IGNITE competition was launched as a platform for young and aspiring business leaders to present their entrepreneurial ventures and receive feedback from industry experts, mentors and academicians.

Before the final round, participants went through two earlier rounds – an entrepreneurship-themed quiz and submission of an executive pitch video for their idea.Seven shortlisted teams from across the country were invited to compete in the finals.
“BSM IGNITE is more than just a competition; it celebrates creativity, critical thinking and the drive to make a difference in the business world. BSM is committed to celebrating innovation and entrepreneurship, which are one of the core values that guide our institute,” Prabhu Agarwal, director, BSM, said in the release.
Each team had around 20 minutes to present a different business concept, ranging from technology-driven solutions to social enterprises, detailing their business plan, market analysis and growth strategy, for a chance to win the competition.
The teams from Picapool and Bagboutique won the competition, receiving seed funding of Rs 10 lakh each and mentorship to help them turn their innovative ideas into successful businesses. Picapool provides a platform where people looking for unique products but cannot avail maximum discounts and offers can connect. Bagboutique offers to recycle textile waste and transform it into ethnic wear, jewellery and more.
