HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — Simone Biles is more than two months away from the Olympics, but she’s definitely ready for Paris. The gymnastics superstar has begun her bid for a third Olympic team, looking as dominant as ever at the U.S. Classic. Biles, 27, posted an overall score of 59.500, nearly two points ahead of second-place finisher Sirise Jones. Grand Champion takes top pork position at World Barbecue Championship in Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) – The World Championship Barbecue Cooking Contest has determined the grand prize winner after hundreds of dedicated pitmasters sweated it out on smoke to be named the best pork. LONDON (AP) – Most residents near a picturesque fishing village in southwest England have been told their tap water is safe to drink again after a parasite sickened more than 45 people. South West Water said on Saturday it would reinstate most of the 17,000 homes and businesses around the affected Brixham area in Devon after the microscopic diarrhea-causing parasite Cryptosporidium was discovered earlier this week. It was announced that the boil water notice had been lifted. The outbreak is the latest example of problems with Britain’s water system. The water company said it lifted the warning after consulting with public health authorities.

Dabney Coleman, the abusive actor, dies at 92

Video obtained by CNN and aired Friday shows Combs punching and kicking Kathy, who was his girlfriend at the time. . Temperatures along Chile’s coast and in the capital Santiago have fallen to near freezing, making this month the country’s coldest May since 1950, according to the Chilean Meteorological Service. A series of polar air masses moved over the southern belt of the continent.

The last remaining panda in a U.S. zoo is scheduled to leave Atlanta for China this fall.

ATLANTA (AP) — The last U.S. zoo housing pandas is preparing to say goodbye to four giant bears this fall. Zoo Atlanta officials announced Friday that they are preparing to return panda parents Runrun and Yanyan to China, along with American-born twins Yarun and Xilun. They are the last remaining pandas in the country after the National Zoo in Washington returned three pandas in November. Atlanta acquired Runrun and Yanyan in 1999 as part of expiring loan deals. The San Diego Zoo could welcome a new pair of pandas this summer.

Tim Kuniskis, the unofficial spokesman for American muscle cars, is retiring.

DETROIT (AP) – The CEO of the Ram and Dodge brands and the unofficial voice of American muscle cars is leaving Stellantis after nearly 32 years. Tim Kuniskis’ retirement announcement on Friday comes as the company begins its transition from gasoline-powered vehicles to electric vehicles and struggles with sales in the United States. Sales through April fell 14.1%. Kunikis led the Dodge brand’s transition to electric muscle cars. Most recently, Mr. Kuniskis served as CEO of both the Dodge and Ram brands. Mr. Lamb will be succeeded by Chris Feuer, who will take over from Mr. Lamb in addition to his responsibilities leading the Chrysler brand. Sales chief Matt McAleer will become CEO of the Dodge brand.
