I hope Big East Twitter has a field day because of the parody of his account. This is the same parody account that forced Marquette’s senior compliance officer to issue a statement that Tyler Kolek can actually read. The funniest thing about this year’s Big East is yet to come.

Bring up fake rumors and use them to make fun of the show’s misfortune. We’re supposed to crack jokes and trend things like #TheResignation. A year after the committee eliminated Seton Hall, St. John’s and Providence from the NCAA Tournament, we’re on the brink of the Big East’s all-time Twitter record. They might actually bully the NCAA into doing something smart.
That being said, Ed Cooley leaving Georgetown after one year would be the funniest storyline in college basketball. Does a guy take heat left and right, become a traitor to his hometown school, and then just become depressed? He will be forced to respect the move. Go get the USC job or something like that instead.
As always, Big East Twitter is fucking ruthless. It’s also what makes college basketball the best it can be. These are what we need on a slow day like this.
