The new initiative will see the creation of a new angels club called “Eretz Angels” to connect international investors and markets to innovative initiatives in Israel’s surrounding regions.
“Eretz Angel” members will be able to invest in deeptech technology ventures in communities in the north and south of Israel, providing critical support and expert guidance during the early stages of their efforts.
The Club will connect new innovative initiatives with local and international investors and markets, expanding opportunities to participate in Start-Up Nation.
Eretz Angels comes into being in difficult times, with Israel’s startup scene experiencing a slowdown in activity since October 7. This slowdown has particularly affected early-stage tech ventures, and it is hoped that the Eretz Angels Club will bring new energy to struggling neighborhoods, especially those more affected by Hamas and Hezbollah attacks.
The Investment Club’s main focus will be pre-seed and seed investments in the field of technology innovation and entrepreneurship. Members will benefit from scouting investment opportunities that will be presented to them for investment, collaboration, strategic partnerships, pilots and beta sites, either through direct investment or through the establishment of an SPV.
“Eretz Angels” is a unique initiative based on decades of experience, strong connections to the Israeli entrepreneurial community and significant resources for investing in entrepreneur-owned technology companies.
The club was jointly founded by the Kibbutz Movement’s Kamea Foundation, the Kibbutz Industry Association, Mashbir Hamelkazi, Eretz Noshevat and the Kinneret Innovation Center.
The Kibbutz Industrial Facility will act as a design partner and potential investor. The agricultural initiative will utilize the infrastructure of the Kibbutz and Hashomer Hachadash’s economic sector and corporations to identify farmers in need and assess feasibility.

The club is run and co-founded by Nir Belzer, an experienced venture capitalist with a professional background in entrepreneurship, management, investment and setting up venture capital funds.
