Shares of gold and copper mining companies rose along with rising metals prices.
Robinhood Markets (HOOD) fell 39 cents to $22.50.
As Bitcoin fell, so did securities trading platforms along with companies closely tied to cryptocurrency activity.
APA Corp. (APA), down 70 cents to $28.73.
Shares of oil and natural gas companies fell along with natural gas prices.
Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), up $8.76 to $172.66.
The chipmaker has positioned itself alongside other major companies involved in artificial intelligence technology.
JPMorgan Chase (JPM), down $2.48 to $205.06.
Earnings season for the majority of companies begins next week, but several major banks are bringing their earnings reports forward.
