Summer, a workplace student loan benefits platform, has raised $9 million in additional funding led by SemperVirens Venture Capital and Rebalance Capital. Founded in 2017 by Paul Joo, Vincent Tran, and Will Sealy, Summer has now reportedly raised a total of $29.1 million in equity funding.


Growth Therapy – $88 million

Grow Therapy, an integrated psychiatric telehealth platform connecting healthcare providers, patients, and payers, has raised $88 million in Series C funding led by Sequoia Capital. Founded in 2020 by Alan Nee and Jake Cooper, Grow Therapy has now raised a total of $148 million in reported equity funding.

Clark – $7.7 million

Clerq, a low-cost business payments platform, has raised $7.7 million in funding, according to a recent SEC filing. The round comes from 15 investors, with Firstmark’s Adam Mark listed as a director, according to filings. Clerq was founded in his 2022 by Ben Markowitz, Truett Dwyer, and Anuj Bhatt.


Alafia Health – $10.9 million

Alaffia Health, an automated medical claims review platform, has raised $10.9 million in funding, according to a recent SEC filing. The round came from nine investors, according to the filing. Founded in 2020 by Adun Akanni and TJ Ademiluyi, Alaffia Health has now raised a total of $17.5 million in reported equity funding.

Beam, a college financial aid management platform, has raised $4.6 million in funding, according to recent SEC filings. The round was structured as a convertible note, with a total offering of $6 million and seven investors at the close, according to filings. Founded by David Helene in 2016, Beam has now reportedly raised a total of $15 million in equity funding.
