Mumbai’s celebrity-favorite restaurant, Bastian, has opened in the Garden City of Bangalore. The 22,000-square-foot restaurant’s second floor opens up to an al fresco dining area, perfect for breezy Bangalore evenings. Featuring a wide range of American and Asian cuisine, this fine dining restaurant also offers vegan and gluten-free options. Instagram-worthy cocktails, experimental dishes and a bohemian-chic ambiance make for an exciting night out that’s sure to be memorable.
Printmaking skills
Printmakers collective Multiple Encounters is hosting an exhibition that gives viewers a glimpse into the world of printmaking. Titled ’50 Years of Printmaking’, each mark tells a story and inspires self-reflection. The exhibition runs until May 14th at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. Printmaking is often understudied as an art form. The members of Multiple Encounters are challenging this by championing this creative medium.

Immerse yourself in a world of colour, texture and imagination at artist Nupur Kundu’s solo exhibition at Dhumimal Art Gallery, New Delhi. Conveying Nupur’s perception of the beauty, fragility and resilience of the earth, ‘Hues & Scapes’ is on display until May 24. Witness Nupur’s mastery of the impasto technique as she paints mystical shapes on canvas.

This month’s must-watch titles on Netflix include Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s drama series “Heera Mandi: Diamond Bazaar.” The period drama offers a glimpse into the lives of the prostitutes of Lahore’s Heera Mandi area, set against the backdrop of India’s struggle for independence. Also captivating audiences is Imtiaz Ali’s “Amar Singh Chamkira,” which delves into the mysterious life of singer Amar Singh. Starring Diljit Dosanjh and Parineeti Chopra, the film uncovers the lingering mystery surrounding his relationships and an unsolved murder case.
