Al Jazeera is an incendiary propaganda channel and should be shut down

Despite the Israeli legal system’s reluctance to remove the hostile Al Jazeera TV channel from local cable and satellite television, this important step has finally been taken.

Communications Minister Shlomo Karhi should be commended for his tenacity and success in destroying channels that support our enemy, Hamas.

At the start of the war, an Al Jazeera journalist was caught on camera taking photos of an IDF assembly area before entering the Strip. The “reporters” abandoned the area after intervention by the head of one of the Gaza border communities. Al Jazeera later broadcast the footage they shot.

Official propaganda channel

Reporters from the Al Jazeera network, which broadcasts to millions of viewers around the world, have become mouthpieces for Hamas terrorists on the enemy’s official propaganda channel. Al Jazeera had a good teacher called Third Reich Radio.

During World War II, German radio was received throughout Europe, broadcasting propaganda and coded messages to Nazi spies in each country. Propaganda in English was aimed at destroying the morale of British and American troops fighting Nazi Germany.

For about four years starting in 1941, Hajj Amin al-Husseini, the Mufti of Jerusalem, ran an Arabic section on Nazi radio, broadcasting virulent propaganda against Jews.

Berlin radio was engaged not only in propaganda, incitement, and the spread of hatred, but also in espionage by recruiting Arab spies living in Germany for the tasks of the Third Reich. Their network was responsible for activities such as planting explosive devices in Iraq, Syria, and other parts of the Middle East.

Legendary broadcaster Younes Bari al-Jubouri was an Iraqi immigrant journalist who fled his homeland to Germany after being sentenced to death for anti-British activities.

He founded several radio stations in 1939, including the Arab Radio Station in Berlin, the first Arab radio station on the European continent, and adopted his famous catchphrase “This is Berlin, the Arab neighborhood” from Germany to Arab Broadcast to the world.

Mr. Bari recruited spies to pose as foreign correspondents to be sent to various countries on behalf of Arab Radio in Berlin.

It was the Mufti of Jerusalem himself who ran these spy networks. A perusal of his diary (a copy of which is kept in the National Archives in Jerusalem) shows the mufti’s handwritten notes, plans, and instructions related to such activities in the Middle East.

The Nazis also utilized Berlin’s Arab Radio to send encrypted messages to senior Arab leaders.

In our time, the purpose of the establishment of Qatari television was to spread propaganda for the Muslim Brotherhood. It was established to support Islamic extremism and escalate the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians.

Qatari television broadcast misinformation about Israel’s desire to destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque and about the genocide Israel is allegedly committing against “poor” Palestinians. They also have a responsibility to mainstream the voice calling for the destruction of Israel, which calls for “Palestine to be free from the sea to the rivers.”

Every small conflict in Judea and Samaria is amplified and reverberated on Qatari television, penetrating the subconscious of Muslims around the world and in Israel.

Al Jazeera not only fuels the coals of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, it also provides the matches to light the fire. Priests who frequently appear on this channel justify acts of terrorism and murder.

It is incomprehensible that a country that loves life would allow such hostile channels to be broadcast on local cable and satellite channels. I also have a hard time understanding how, in the godly name of freedom of expression and viewership, Israeli platforms have allowed this to happen so far. broadcast it.

Freedom of speech is considered a sacred right, but cable networks in the democratic United States dare to legalize channels that trade in religiously based disputes and broadcast lies against the host country. I wonder.

From what I know about the US and Federal Communications Commission (FCC) oversight, it is unlikely that such a channel will appear on any platform. Moreover, if any channel had broadcast inflammatory language, it would have been taken off the air and its owner would have been fined a huge sum.

Only Israel could operate such a channel in the name of democracy and freedom of speech, and even after the outbreak of war it took six months for legal advisers to approve its removal.

Qatar, which helps keep the brutal terrorist organization Hamas alive and provides tens of millions of dollars in funding, is not doing it for heaven’s sake.

It is a country that supports the Muslim Brotherhood and its ideology and aligns itself with the teachings of Islamic Jihad and Hamas. The Muslim Brotherhood, founded by Imam Hassan al-Banna, wants to enforce Sharia law by force.

It failed in Egypt and other Sunni countries and was outlawed in Saudi Arabia, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates. It is not interested in peace and advocates the path of terrorism to achieve its goal of destroying the State of Israel.

This is the same Muslim Brotherhood that killed Anwar Sadat for daring to sign a peace treaty with Israel. Egypt’s leader today, President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, will not allow the Muslim Brotherhood to rear its head and will jail thousands of people for supporting the movement.

The money-rich Brotherhood promotes its ideology through media networks and by buying appointments in international companies and sports clubs and universities in the US and UK, and inculcates its ideology through Al Jazeera.

About a year ago, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates accused Qatar of supporting terrorism and collaborating with Iran.

They imposed sanctions on Doha and sent a letter to Qatar with 13 demands, including the closure of the Al Jazeera television network. Doha rejected this request.

The decision to shut down Israel’s Al Jazeera is extremely important.

If countries around the world do not wake up from their slumber, within a few years they will be living with Muslim majorities that will influence politics and the elections of politicians. For example, the familiar European way of life will be completely different.
