Airwallex launches support program for Singapore’s startup community

Air War Rex The company has launched its “Airwallex for Startups” program in Singapore, targeting over 55,000 startups in the country.

The initiative follows expansion in Hong Kong and Australia and will include networking activities, mentorship opportunities with industry leaders and exclusive product offers.

Startups can also apply to win Airwallex’s Level Up Business Grant of S$10,000 to accelerate their growth.

“Startups are the backbone of innovation and progress around the world, and this programme is designed to help Singaporean entrepreneurs achieve their ambitions, take risks on their ideas, scale their impact, and continue to build their businesses across borders,” he said. By joining the Airwallex for Startups programme, Singapore-based startups will be offered a range of benefits, including a six-month waiver of expense management fees and 3% cashback on the Airwallex Borderless card.

Participants can process up to SG$20,000 in payments with no fees, receive up to SG$250,000 in Google Cloud credits, and get up to three months of a Xero subscription. The program also offers discounts on HubSpot subscriptions, with 30% off the first year and 15% off the second year.

Apart from these financial incentives, startups will have access to valuable networking opportunities with founders and industry leaders and can participate in workshops covering topics ranging from artificial intelligence to customer relationship management.

Additionally, local startups can apply for a S$10,000 Level Up Business Grant aimed at supporting their growth. Grant applications will be accepted until 31 August 2024, and winners will be announced at an event ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix.
