Through his company Global Kid Media, Michigan resident Vedant Gupta has interviewed sports greats Deion Sanders, Jack Nicklaus, Patrick Mahomes and Magic Johnson, among others. Gupta did all of this before graduating from high school, and is enrolled at Michigan State University this fall to continue his journey in business and entrepreneurship.

In his new book, Global Kid Media: A Child Entrepreneur’s Time-Traveling Journey, Gupta shares some of his favorite interviews and real-life work experiences from ages 11 to 17. The book describes the real business skills and life lessons Gupta learned at a young age while developing Global Kid Media and offers advice on building a business.

Gupta founded his sports media company at age 11. Over the past six years, he has conducted 2,000 celebrity interviews and hosted over 250 shows, all while juggling his media career with being a year-round three-sport student-athlete in high school, taking 11 AP classes and learning two languages.

Gupta joined Fox 17 Morning Mix to share more about his journey building his business and how others can pursue similar dreams, regardless of age.
