The opinions expressed by Entrepreneur contributors are their own.

You are reading Entrepreneur India, an international franchise of Entrepreneur Media.

Let’s start with some questions today. How ready are you to venture beyond your comfort zone? Would you like to join a 4am club and a climb on the same day? Battle rushing rapids descending over a waterfall? Are we willing to compete with reality and risk our lives on every sharp turn on a dirty bike path? Although most of us probably just shook our heads at everything on the list. , to be honest, there’s no shame in it. Although not everyone is willing to participate in such activities, the majority of those who do report that their lives have significantly improved. What particularly interested us in adventure sports was the number of entrepreneurs seeking this thrill.

We spoke to three such entrepreneurs to understand the hype, experience and their journey in adventure sports. We start with Ankit Agrawal, his CEO and co-founder of InsuranceDekho, who recently went skydiving. He talked about his experience trying out such a sport for the first time, and said he would immediately recommend this experience to other entrepreneurs. He said, “As an entrepreneur, it is essential to build a team that supports you, to a greater or lesser degree.” I strongly encourage you to indulge in experiences that will provide you with valuable lessons.” Entrepreneurship. “Moreover, it provides a refreshing break from the daily business routine and can stimulate creativity and innovation,” he added.

For more seasoned adventure enthusiasts like Tanya Swetta, CEO and co-founder of id8 Media Solutions, her outlook on life is that it’s your “greatest adventure.” Her main activities include scuba diving, skydiving, and skiing, which are “special opportunities” for herself and her loved ones to create “memories of trying something new.” I am. One of the lessons she learned from her experience was one she learned while scuba diving. “While diving 12 to 15 feet below the ocean floor, I gained a better understanding of my body on a physical level. I had to learn how to manage internal pressure accordingly.”Ocean Pressure reduce and maintain balance. Her advice to those starting out is: “It’s important to choose the right location, partner, equipment and be prepared.Adventure sports can be dangerous, but they can also be very rewarding and encourage personal evolution and growth.” ”.

Finally, we spoke to Anshka Palwani, celebrity wellness expert and founder of Anshka Yoga. His time spent at flight school, rock climbing, skydiving, and bungee jumping always led to “valuable lessons.” We asked her if she was ever afraid to try something. She said, “Scary might be the wrong word, but I definitely get nervous before trying something new, and I think that nervousness just gets me pumped up with adrenaline.” ” he said. “All my experiences and adventures have taught me the importance of discipline, perseverance, risk-taking and adaptability,” she added.

Another lesson for her was “about embracing failure because there are always some little hiccups along the way.” “I also feel like it really helped me gain confidence. It gave me a lot of serotonin, made me feel really happy, and helped me trust myself, my intuition, my strength, my decisions, my communication, my leadership skills.” “I really appreciate the teamwork,” she added.
