University Relations will host its annual First Look Forum in collaboration with the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Research Foundation and the Medical College of Wisconsin on Thursday, April 18th from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at WE Energies, 231 W. Michigan St. Masu. .
This event will showcase innovative researchers and technologies from our region. Participants will share exciting solutions to unmet needs with Milwaukee business leaders, investors, entrepreneurs, and academics and help bring these solutions to market.

- Dr. Bin Yu, associate professor in the Marquette University-Medical College of Wisconsin Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering, will speak on “Say Goodbye to Endotracheal Tube Misplacement – Near-Infrared Devices for Safer Intubation.”
- Dr. Joseph Wall, Associate Professor, School of Business Administration, and Donald F. Flynn and Beverly L. Flynn Dean, School of Accounting. Dr. Kevin Rich, Dean of Accounting and Charles T. Horngren Professor of Accounting; He will be speaking about his startup on “Praximae: AI-Enabled 3D Education, 7 Minutes at a Time.”
President Michael R. Lovell will deliver opening remarks, along with UW-Milwaukee President Mark Mohn and Medical College of Wisconsin President Joseph Kirshner.
