Hi-P secures $74 million investment from 65 Temasek-backed equity partners
- Advanced manufacturing services provider Hi-P has raised S$100 million (US$74.1 million) from 65 Equity Partners, backed by Singapore government investment firm Temasek. The investment is part of the Local Enterprise Fund, a US$740.8 million fund aimed at developing home-grown businesses in Singapore.
- As part of the investment, 65 Equity Partners will join Hi-P’s board of directors and Lim Chin Hu will be appointed as its representative.
- The Singapore-based startup provides advanced manufacturing, production, assembly, testing and packaging services to major clients such as Amazon, Apple and Dyson.
- The funds will be used to develop a new strategic focus, facilitate leadership succession and accelerate growth and sustainability initiatives. Additionally, Hi-P aims to work towards an initial public offering with a view to a dual listing in Hong Kong or the US.
Dezerv Raises $32 Million in Series B Round Led by Premji Invest
- Mumbai-based wealthtech platform Dezerv has secured Rs 2,650 crore ($32 million) in a Series B funding round led by Premji Invest. Existing investors Elevation Capital, Matrix Partners and Accel India also participated in the round.
- Founded in April 2021, Dezerv offers portfolio management services to high net worth individuals and business professionals. The platform leverages its in-house expertise to manage investment portfolios and claims to have realised returns of around 30% since its launch in April 2021.
- The fresh funding will be used to accelerate Dezerv’s growth trajectory and strengthen its financial position in the competitive asset management market. Following this round, Dezerv is valued at approximately Rs 1,715 crore ($207 million).
