The celebrations in Jamnagar were followed by a private party in London for friends of the bride and groom, and then in early June, the Ambanis took hundreds of guests on a luxury cruise to Italy and France.
In the last week leading up to the actual wedding, the Ambani family hosted a sangeet (with a performance by Justin Bieber), a mamelo ceremony, a garba night, a haldi and on Wednesday a mehendi ceremony with a Shiva Shakti puja.
The grand wedding will be held at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC). The Ambanis are also scheduled to host at least three wedding receptions over the next few days.
