Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s sangeet celebrations also included a special celebration for Team India’s T20 World Cup winning team. Nita Ambani last night invited the World Cup winning team onto the stage at her son Anant Ambani’s sangeet celebrations in Mumbai to congratulate them for winning the hearts of a billion Indians.
The video shows her calling Captain Rohit Sharma, Surya Kumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya on stage at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s sangeet.
Captain Rohit Sharma was greeted with thunderous applause as he walked on stage and embraced Akash and Nita Ambani. A visibly emotional Nita Ambani urged the audience to applaud louder, saying, “Screaming is not enough. Shouting is not enough. Cheering is not enough.” She then invited Surya Kumar Yadav onto the stage, followed by Hardik Pandya.
“We have found one teenager, someone who took everyone’s breath away with the last over. He proves one thing – tough times don’t last but the strong ones do,” Nita Ambani said on behalf of Hardik Pandya, who is currently in the news not just for his professional but also personal life with rumours rife that he is separating from his wife Natasa Stankovic.

The audience, consisting of Ambani family, friends and other guests, gave a standing ovation to each cricketer.
Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani echoed the sentiment as he congratulated the cricketers for making India proud, saying it brought back memories of the way India won the World Cup in 2011.
Touring batsman Jasprit Bumrah was unable to attend the sangeet, but other Indian cricketers were there to support Rohit Sharma, Surya Kumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya, including Ishan Kishan, Shreyas Iyer, Krunal Pandya, KL Rahul and MS Dhoni.
Anant Ambani is the second son of Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani and his wife Nita Ambani. He will marry Radhika Merchant on July 12. Radhika is the daughter of Encore Healthcare CEO Viren Merchant and his wife Shaila Merchant.
