An Air India passenger encountered an unfortunate incident that resulted in him missing his flight. The passenger’s flight was postponed twice, which meant he was unable to reach the airport on time and missed his flight. The incident gained attention after the passenger posted about it on social media, which quickly went viral, prompting a response from the airline.
“Dear @airindia, I had booked a flight to Bangalore today. The departure was at 9am. At 5.15am I got a message that the departure time has been changed to 11.45am. So I changed the departure time. And now 30 minutes ago I got a message that the flight has been changed to 9.25am,” wrote X-user @thekaipullai.
Expressing her dissatisfaction, the passenger added, “I am now going to miss my flight as I based my departure time on your earlier message. Why are you doing this? We are currently investigating the reason for the change in departure time and are offering you the option of an alternative flight or a full refund. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused and look forward to welcoming you back again.”
