Oregon is considered one of the best teams in college football this season and has a good chance of winning the title in January. Ducks head coach Dan Lanning is one of the best coaches in the country and they acquired transfer quarterback Dillon Gabriel from Oklahoma. He was one of the most highly rated transfer quarterbacks in the portal this offseason. Oregon has all the tools to win a national championship and the script may have leaked on Tuesday. It’s one that shows they’re winning it all.
Oregon to win NCAA national championship in 2025
The NCAA 25 football video game launched this month, and on Tuesday it released a trailer showcasing how to play in the new 12-team College Football Playoff, which featured a scene from one of the playoff games unfolding and the Ducks’ win over Ohio State.
Ironically, the Ducks will face the Buckeyes in the title game because Ohio State beat Oregon, 42-20, in the first-ever four-team College Football Playoff in 2014-15 and Oregon beat Ohio State, 42-20, in the first-ever 12-team playoff now.
There’s a chance Oregon could play Ohio State in the title game, but the schools will meet this season because the Ducks are now in the Big Ten and will meet again in the Big Ten title game, meaning they could play Ohio State three times in less than three months.
