MOGAS Industries has been awarded a multi-million dollar contract to deliver the first commercialization of its Crude Oil Thermal Cracking to Chemicals (TC2C™) technology for the S-Oil Shaheen project in South Korea.
Lummus Technology’s licensed TC2C™ technology converts whole crude oil and other refinery orphan streams into high-value olefins and aromatics products, including one of the world’s largest steam crackers.
Building on the success of a previous project with technology licensor Chevron Lummus Global (CLG) on ebullating bed hydrocracking, MOGAS will supply more than 90 2-inch to 14-inch ASME 300-2500 class severe service valves and actuation packages, including multiple fast-acting metal-seat emergency shut-off valves.
