These roles will help drive some of the group’s most significant technology projects, including new customer capabilities on digital channels, protecting customers from fraud and advanced data analytics.
Dublin-headquartered Bank of Ireland today announced it is creating 100 new jobs across its technology division as it looks to strengthen its presence in areas including cloud, open banking, APIs, AI and emerging technologies.
To support digital projects across the group, particularly in the areas of customer functionality on digital channels, fraud prevention and advanced data analytics, we need experts in data, delivery management, engineering, recruitment, resilience and cyber.
Earlier this year, Bank of Ireland announced a major upgrade of its ATMs across Ireland, its biggest investment in automated teller machines in more than a decade, due to be completed in 2027. €15 million is also being spent on fraud prevention technology, with the bank saying in April €34 million investment Customer service features include biometric voice technology and enhanced self-service capabilities.
Ciarán Coyle, group chief operating officer at Bank of Ireland, reaffirmed the platform’s commitment to continued investment in people, technology and infrastructure.
“We are currently working on a range of innovative digital projects across the group and are looking to recruit talented professionals who can help us enhance our customers’ banking experience,” Coyle said.
