Gaddis networked not only at It’s A Vibe Cafe but also at other businesses she had in mind, meeting other business owners and people with different specialties and realizing her dream might be more attainable than she thought.

“I felt like there were four or five things I wanted to do here,” Gaddis says. “I was collecting business cards and I ended up talking to a few people. I was able to network here not only for my business but also for a new venture I’d been thinking about, but had shied away from it or not put much effort into researching it, thinking it would be too much work. But they told me it wasn’t. I would never have known if I hadn’t met them.”

Gaddis said what he liked about the event was the variety of people who attended and the opportunity to put the spotlight on local business owners.

“The fact that someone was checking out different businesses and different concepts that were coming up was great,” she said. “Having someone else do our marketing was one of the best things for us, and that’s exactly what it was.” Atlanta Now That’s what I’m doing.”
