Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan in Shusha, Aydin Karimov, announced plans to establish a specialized tourism center during his speech at the event “New Opportunities for Entrepreneurs: Let’s Build Garabag Together” in Shusha.

He confirmed that the site for the construction of the vocational training center has been selected and the first stage of the project has been completed. In addition, Karimov revealed that the construction of a permanent gas filling station of “SOCAR Petroleum” CJSC in Shusha has begun.
Providing further updates, Karimov mentioned the existence of a modular gas station operated by Azpetrol in Shusha.
He added that so far Shusha has provided favorable conditions for the activity of about 20 entrepreneurs, both private and legal entities.
He explained that the construction of 10 buildings on Shusha’s “Garabag” Street, which is being developed in a public-private partnership under the initiative of President Ilham Aliyev, is progressing at a rapid pace.
“Eight of these buildings are being built by private investors, while the Shusha City State Preservation Agency is overseeing the construction of the remaining two. It is important to note that not a single manat of state funds has been used in this investment project. By the end of the year, we plan to set up accommodation, public catering and trade services in these buildings.”
He also highlighted that several public catering facilities, cafes and restaurants in the area are nearing completion and due to open in the coming weeks. New applications for further development are currently under consideration.
